English Project Class were delighted to welcome Amnesty International, who visited as part of the class’s work on the UN Declaration of Human Rights and the celebrated book, The Kite Runner.  We all want to thank the speakers – Ken Matahari and Elizabeth Nugraha – for a talk which was engaging, open and thought-provoking.  The students valued the opportunity to ask questions and we all came away convinced that Amnesty’s work will continue to be as crucial in the future as it was when it was founded in London in 1961 and came to Indonesia in 2017.
